Moving On Together (MOTO)

MOTO - an innovative event to engage young disabled people

This video shows extracts from a participation event where young disabled people explained to their parents and other people who support them how they could be more independent if they were allowed to take "one step at a time". The young people presented their ideas through role play, which evoked an emotional response.

We called the event Moving On TOgether, or MOTO for short, and it was part of a national pilot called Timely Information to Citizens.
