Zinc Launch Pad is funded by BBC Children in Need’s Fun and Friendship grant programme and is for young people aged 12 to 18 who are Deaf or have physical, hearing or visual impairments. Launch pad encourages participants to get creative, learn new things, make new friends and have fun and includes regular arts workshops, group trips out to cultural events, and arts weekends away at Zinc’s new, fully accessible residential centre.  There are a number of workshops and events happening between November 2012 and April 2012 across Cambridgesire, East London and Hertfordshire.
