Further information

A wonderful opportunity for childcare settings and families to involve children in the Nativity story. This year’s Nativity Service once again promises to give children a magical experience of a wonderful story.

Children and adults with disabilities are welcome.

The one-hour service is open to everyone, but is designed very much with pre-school children in mind. It features the story of the Nativity told by young children using theatre and singing with full audience participation throughout.

We would be delighted to welcome you and the children in your care to the Cathedral for this year’s Service. The atmosphere will be very informal and we would be delighted to see children dressed as Nativity characters, and bringing bells to shake along with the music. A space will be provided in the South Transept for the safe storage of buggies.
