Sunday 11 December 20119.00am – 4.30pm@ Cambridge Regional College Sports Hall,Cambridge, CB4 2QTThe course aims to teach those who wish to introduce the basic skills of wheelchair basketball tochildren and novice players.The advised age to enter the course is 16 years old. It is also appropriate for candidates underthe age of 16 to enter the course if it is to support their additional sports leadership qualificationsor GCSE Physical Education.Teachers, physiotherapists, sport development and community development officers, wheelchairbasketball players, coaches and youth club leaders will also find this course of benefit.The candidates will be able to:• Gain understanding of how to safely and knowledgably introduce the basic fundamental skills ofwheelchair basketball to young and novice players• Set up small sided games and gain understanding of the rules in ‘Inclusive Zone Basketball’ andhow to set up Inclusive Zone basketball festivalsThe candidates will receive Leaders Education pack and resources cards.
