Get involved as an organisation or service
If your organisation or service provides information, advice or support services to parents in Cambridgeshire, you can get involved by:
- appointing a Parent Champion (a representative who will make sure the voice of parents is heard) to join the pinpoint network
- telling the parents you support about pinpoint
- using the pinpoint network to involve and consult with parents (we have over 550 parents on our email list of which around 90 have said they are a parent of a disabled child or young person and the pinpoint mailings are also sent through other local parent groups, services and organisations who support parents)
- making sure we have up-to-date information on the support you can give to parents to add to our website
We can offer a range of support to services and organisations who want to develop their parental involvement work including:
- workshop facilitation
- training on parent participation
- consultancy
- training on involving parents in evaluating services
- good practice
