useful resources for parent representatives
If you are a member of a parent group or you are a representative on a decision-making group please let us know. We would like to work with you to make sure that the pinpoint network is as representative as possible of parents around the County.
We also want to give you as much help as we can in your role. Please tell us what you need.
We are currently updating our participation tools as part of developing a good practice toolkit so please check these pages regularly. In the meantime, here are some things you might find helpful.
Useful documents
- who we are and what we do - link to a document explaining who's who in Cambridgeshire's Children and Young People's Services. Update November 2011 - this document appears to have been removed from the County Council website. When we find information telling us who does what we will add it to the website.
- Parenting support strategy - Cambridgeshire's strategy for supporting parents with bringing up their children. Around 1300 parents and carers took part in this pinpoint consultation.
- Parental involvement strategy - Cambridgeshire's strategy for involving parents in strategic decision-making, which we drafted and has now been adopted by the Children's Trust.
