Parent Information Pack

The Cambridgeshire Parent information pack includes information on support and services for children and young people with additional needs or a disability in Cambridgeshire. It was edited by Lynn Powell for charity Gateopener.

It is based on the Early Support Family Pack because parents of young disabled children said they found this useful.

The Cambridgeshire pack covers all ages and includes information on local services. The pack is made up of a set of individual leaflets that you can download as and when you need them, and use them to build up your own personal family file.

We hope the pack will also be used by parent support workers and that they will provide printed copies of relevant leaflets to parents who do not have access to the internet.

Please note: we are in the process of updating this pack and making it available as an online version. We have left it on the site because the general guidance is still largely relevant, however contact details may be out of date. We are working with Gateopener to identify funding sources to allow us to develop this work quickly. If any of the links do not work, please download a copy directly from the Gateopener website.
