keep learning

Try something new. Rediscover an old interest. Sign up for that course. Take on a different responsibility at work. Fix a bike. Learn to play an instrument or how to cook your favourite food. Set a challenge you will enjoy achieving. Learning new things will make you more confident as well as being fun.
Evidence shows: Adult learning has been linked with positive effects on well-being and resilience. It increases self esteem, a sense of hope and social integration.
It doesn’t have to be as formal as an Open University course, unless this is what you want. Fixing a bike, cooking something new or looking up something interesting on the internet are all examples of how we can learn something new every day. Setting and achieving a goal however small is associated with higher levels of well-being. Make sure the goals are your own and ones that you want to achieve.
