Freelance Social Media Development Manager

  • Six month position
  • Home based, with occasional meetings with our e-Communications Manager in Cambridge / London. 
  • Hourly rate of £15 for 120 hours (ideally to be worked at 20 hours per month but we support flexible working).

pinpoint is an independent information, support and parental involvement network run for parents by parents in Cambridgeshire.  We are looking for a Social Media Development Manager to help us engage and interact with our supporters and stakeholders through various social media channels.

Although we have dipped our toes in the social media pond (blogging and Facebook), we need an experienced and passionate social media practitioner to help us develop and implement a social media strategy. You can visit our website at www.pinpoint-cambs.org.uk.

Deliverables

The overall aim of this project is to implement a social media strategy that results in at least two active and sustainable social media channels by the end of the project.  This will include the following elements:

  • Educate the pinpoint management team on incorporating relevant social media techniques into our communications strategy
  • Advise us on which social media channel / s would work best for us
  • Help us achieve maximum social media presence with limited resources
  • Help us understand how to monitor and evaluate the impact of our social media presence
  • Advice on how to integrate our blog, web content and social media pages.
