Are you busy on the 15th June?
If you're not busy on the 15th June, we would love to see you.
We're having an annual meeting for interested parties (I was tempted to say 'interesting parties' but that might lead us down a whole different path). With over 600 people (interested parties) on the pinpoint mailing list, it would be amazing if even a quarter of you turned up!
We've been considering what might tempt you along. There's the usual food and drink attraction; and, we're planning an entertaining fundraising 'game'. Our latest thought is a twist on the usual 'guest speaker' attraction - we're planning a 'guest listener'. It's what we're about after all...getting people to listen to what parents and carers have to say: to move on from talking at us, to listening to us.
So, watch this space for news of 'listeners', venue, and times. pinpoint has come a long way since this time last year and we have some important decisions we need your help us make. Send me your ideas for tempting people along on a June day and evening...
Lynn

Annual meeting postponed
Unfortunately I've made the difficult decision to postpone our annual meeting. The idea of the meeting is to celebrate our achievements but also to decide how pinpoint should move forward. With growing uncertainty over funding cuts and how this might impact on us, I felt it would be difficult to make the right decisions. Funding we thought had been confirmed is now 'on hold' until after the June budget so I will be re-schedule the annual meeting for the autumn term. Such uncertain times...
