Conservative conference extends support for Aiming High for Disabled Children

At an Action for Children fringe meeting this week, in response to a question as to whether a Conservative government would sustain the Aiming High for Disabled Children investment programme, Tim Loughton MP, Shadow Minister for Children, said:

'It is an absolute false economy to not support families with disabled children. Aiming High for Disabled Children definitely gives you bang for your buck. I would like to make it work better and would like to extend it.'

Read the EDCM (Every Disabled Child Matters) article to find out what Tim Loughton said about PCT (Primary Care Trust) accountability and the the difficulties around applying for disability benefits.
