Government pledges to ring-fence funding to support vulnerable children
In its Early Intervention: Securing good outcomes for all children and young people report, the government has pledged to ring-fence funding to ensure children's trusts do more to support vulnerable children at an early age, before problems escalate.
Ed Balls, Children's Secretary, says everyone working with children, young people and families has a responsibility and a part to play, especially schools, colleges, children's centres and GPs.
