Open to any parent who is worried about their child or young person. Not need or disability specific.

Little Miracles Ramsey

This volunteer-run charity consists of other parents who know what it is like to have a child with additional needs or a life-limiting condition and who understand the challenges you face.

Provides a free, safe environment with activities for all children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions and their siblings. This gives parents a chance to talk and get support with their problems from others who have faced a similar situation.

Peterborough and Cambridgeshire District Dyslexia Association (PACDDA)

PACDDA is a local charity working to help people affected by dyslexia in and around Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. It runs Children Will Shine (CWS) sessions at Peterborough during term-times, on Mondays, from 4pm -5.30pm  at the Heritage Park Primary School Community Hall, Park Farm Way, Park Farm. Peterborough, PE2 8XA .

Pinpoint Preparing for Adulthood group

A parent group , organised by Pinpoint, meeting termly at Bar Hill for those raising young people aged 14-25 with additional needs and disabilities. All parent carers welcome.

Dads’ Group Ely

Ely Dads’ Group meets monthly and at various venues in the Ely area. The group is for dads with a child with any disability or additional need. The group usually does activities where dads can bring children and siblings.

Welcome 2 Our World Wisbech

The group is run and supported by parents with a view to raising funds to build a centre for the use of children and young adults who have disabilities and their families. It meets regularly on a fortnightly basis and organises social events for the whole family.

The Parent Group St Ives

 A drop in support group for parents by parents. This is for parents of children of all ages and covers all parenting issues. Children are welcome but please bear in mind this is not a toddler group. Meets 2nd and 4th Friday of the month 9.15am – 10.30am term time only at Broad Leas Centre St Ives PE27 5QB. It’s 50p a week to cover costs of refreshments.

All welcome for a chat, a cuppa and cake.

Support, Offload, Chat is a mutual support group for parents and carers of children with special needs based in Huntingdon. If you care for a child with additional needs and want to talk and share ideas with people in a similar situation, pop down for a cuppa and chat. SOC meets every Friday afternoon during term time,9-11am at Huntingdon Youth Centre, Sallowbush Road, PE29 7AF. You can turn up on the day.
