younger parents
Younger parents tell us they sometimes need different information and support to other parents, and have different issues. We know that being a young parent is not always easy, but there is a lot of information and support available.

We support a group of younger parents (under 25) who have disabled children. They have helped us put together the information on this page to help them and other younger parents. If you are a younger parent you can join our Early Years online forum to chat to each other or tell us what you think about this page. Or you can contact our Early Years support worker Judith Middleton by e-mail.
Where to find the information you need
We asked our younger parents about the information that they need to use most often and we have included some quick links on the left hand hand side of this page under 'Younger parents' to key information on the pinpoint website. In the pink boxes on the right hand side of the pages we have included links to support groups, forums and information outside pinpoint.
Finally remember to read our regular newsletters. If you are not already on our mailing list let us know and we will add you to the list.
