Well, it's certainly been a busy and eventful year. And as we approach the end of 2010, the change of government, Comprehensive Spending Review and proposed budget cuts have left many organisations, services, staff and families uncertain of what 2011 will bring.

pinpoint has grown considerably during the past year and we were able to present a positive report at our 2010 annual meeting.

By all accounts, we will be seeing some savage cuts in services in the coming months. In recent years there has been much government rhetoric about the need to listen to service users when planning and developing services, so it will be interesting to see the extent to which the views of families inform local and national government's budget choices.
