There's a lot of talk about putting parents in control these days. That might sound good on the surface of it, after all parents know their children best don't they. But do we all want more control, or are our lives busy enough thank you very much? And will this new-found control give us more choice and better support? David Cameron's vision for the big society is about empowering local communities. This should be great news for pinpoint and its supporters as this is exactly what we are about, and have been trying to promote for the past 2 years. But is it?
