Ollie’s 5K challenge for Pinpoint

Pinpoint gatecrashed a junior school assembly this week – in order to say a surprise thank you to a special fundraiser.

Ollie Godden (9), who is in year 5 at Hartford Junior School at Huntingdon, ran an inflatable 5K at Nottingham to raise money for Pinpoint and other families who have children with additional needs and disabilities.

The run featured 10 giant obstacles including bouncy walls, hurdles and tunnels.  And Ollie even managed a 15ft Leap of Faith jump – an amazing feat, even for grown ups.

It was a really, really big challenge and Olllie – who was only eight at the time – smashed it, raising £120 to help other families who have children that have extra needs and disabilities.

Said his Dad Matt: ” We are so proud of him for helping a charity that supports SEND children and their families.”
