The Pinpoint office is mostly closed over the summer holidays as we are funded in the main for term-time.
The team will be picking up messages weekly – but cannot respond to urgent requests for information. So here are some useful contacts to see you through.
We’ll be back week commencing September 3.
School/college SEND Transport
If you have a problem, contact SETT (Social and Education Transport Team) direct.
They are regularly in touch with settings and taxi firms and, as contract managers, want to know of any concerns or issues.
Cambridgeshire Local Offer
The Local Offer is basically the information hub on SEND issues in Cambridgeshire. It is hosted by the county council website and has lots of information on how children and young people aged 0 – 25 who have special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported in the county. Information includes:
- universal services that are available to everyone, such as schools, GPs
- targeted support and services for children and young people who may need some additional, short term support
- specialist services for children and young people who have complex needs and need longer term specialised support
