pinpoint is an independent information, support and parental involvement network run for parents by parents in Cambridgeshire.

pinpoint was set up in 2007 in response to parents’ requests for:

Young Lives is our Lead Body. This means Young Lives:

works with pinpoint to submit a bid or programme of work;
sub-contracts the delivery to pinpoint but underwrites the contract (which means that Young Lives will ensure the contract is delivered if pinpoint fail to deliver);
manages all financial aspects of the contract in accordance with normal procedures;
is represented on our Management Group;
monitors the delivery of the contract but does not line manage any individuals working on the contract on behalf of pinpoint; and
takes a small charge for managing the contract and the financial arrangements.
