PfA (Preparing for Adulthood) Post 16 – What happens when your child leaves school and that’s when they need more support? What if they “managed in school” but now they have left, they aren’t able to do what others their age are doing?
Karen and Sara from Smart Bright Training are back to look at what support may be available, look at EHCP’s and find other ways to give our young person support too. You can also find out more about PfA (Preparing for Adulthood) here on our website.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire. We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services. Find out more about who we are and what we do here.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
You will be sent an email from Eventbrite containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and again 10 min before. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
We want you to be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions – You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
